The red glass beads were made in Japan in the 1950s. The beads are a fantastic combination of transluscent and opaque red with just a touch of warm yellow and are framed between two sterling silver beads from Turkey. The accent beads are evenly spaced with black "steel-cut" seed beads made in France in the late 19th century between them. The American made clasp is delicate, but secure.
