While at the Tucson gem and mineral show, I met a fantastic Californian artist. Klew has been making beads out of Fimo clay for decades. The vibrancy of the colors is astonishing. I adore her color combinations, attention to detail and whimsy. I see in her work influences from the canes of murrino used for centuries on murano. I see middle eastern and asian influcenes in her detailed mandala work. As the Southwest of the us.  Maybe Hawaii.. Anyhow, each bead is masterfully and artistically handcrafted. I've purchased 10 sets of beads and have created 10 truly unique pairs of earrings which are all on-line in the one of a kind section of this site.
