After years of promising more online purchasing options, and thanks to my husband's urging and support, I have finally opened an online store that I should be able to update and manage.
That means easier access to a greater variety of Carnelian Knoll goodies for you -- without having to track me down. I hope, however, that you will come seek me out at one of my shows this Spring, or in my Upper West Side studio.
If you are new to Carnelian Knoll, here's a little info. I started the company in 1998 while working full-time as the Director of Human Resources for a not-for-profit health care organization. Since then, I have been collecting fabulous beads (1950s glass from Japan and from West Germany, hand-blown glass from Murano, hand lamp-worked glass designed and made by women living in California, handmade silver from Bali, Thailand and Turkey etc). In my New York studio, I design and hand-make every piece that I sell.
Those of you who are familiar with my old site may recognize some of the earrings on this site. There is, however, a lot that is new. I recommend that you look through the silver earring section which has quite a few never-seen-on-the-web-before items.
It is my hope that as I become more experienced with this process, the images and descriptions of my work will improve, and I will continue to be able to share more of my creations with you. If you have questions about any of the items, or would like me to send you additional images, please let me know and I will try to accommodate your requests.
So thanks for visiting my new store. Happy Spring!
