Carnelian Knoll Studio open on Manhattan's Upper West Side

Posted

As you may have heard, Crafts on Columbus has been cancelled while the Museum of Natural History is undergoing construction. I do not currently have any public shows planned for this Spring. So how do you get a hold of Carnelian Knoll Creations?

1. Please contact me Julie@CarnelianKnoll.com or 917-579-3908 to schedule an appointment to visit my studio at 103rd and Riverside Drive

2. Host a home show! 15-20% of the total sales will go to the organization of your choice.

3. Let me know about your favorite local show or market and I'll see if it works in my schedule.

4. I'm starting to sell my work in Museum shops. The Museum of American Folk Art has a nice selection of the lampwork glass earrings and some lariats.

5. Purchase on this site!

So please don't be a stranger. There's always something new at Carnelian Knoll.

In March, I met with my main vintage bead source, a septuagenarian who has been in the bead business since 1974! She finally decided that she isn't going to move to California and invited me to [...]

Spring Crafts on Columbus passed by CB7 Full Board

Thank You!  On June 2, the full board of Community Board 7 voted to recommend that the Parks Department issue an RFP for a three week spring crafts fair starting in 2015. Although not the 6 weeks we have enjoyed for decades, this compromise will allow Crafts on Columbus to continue for the next five years. As you may be aware, Crafts on Columbus, a 34-year-old crafts fair on the Upper West Side in which I have been participating for the past 15 years, just concluded what may be its final weekend--ever.
